Basketball Game Preview: Camden Bulldogs vs. A.C. Flora Falcons

The Camden Bulldogs will square off against the A.C. Flora Falcons at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Camden is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68.6 points per game this season.

On Wednesday, Camden ended up a good deal behind A.C. Flora and lost 56-39. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite their defeat, Camden saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jillian Rush, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 17 boards, was perhaps the best of all. Those 17 rebounds gave Rush a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Harmony Jefferson, who posted 11 points and eight steals.

Even though they lost, Camden smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 21 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

The victory (which was A.C. Flora's fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points over those games. As for Camden, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
