San Rafael hadn't done well against Novato recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Hornets 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Hornets back in March, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

The victory made it two in a row for San Rafael and bumps their season record up to 3-9. As for Novato, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-13.

Coming up, San Rafael will challenge Archie Williams at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Novato, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Tamalpais at 5:00 p.m. The Red Tailed Hawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
