Basketball Recap: Ferriday Takes a Loss

Ferriday lost against Mangham back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ferriday Trojans were dealt a 65-22 defeat at the hands of the Mangham Dragons. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ferriday dropped their record down to 9-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Mangham, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ferriday will challenge Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mangham, they will square off against Bastrop at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bastrop's defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so Mangham's offense will have their work cut out for them.
