Basketball Recap: Jupiter Christian Beats Master's Academy for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Jupiter Christian had won four straight games and Matthew Barrett did his part to make it five on Tuesday. The Jupiter Christian Eagles put the hurt on the Master's Academy Patriots with a sharp 57-37 win thanks in part to Barrett, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 boards. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Cayden Alula was another key player, putting up two points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Jupiter Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Master's Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Jupiter Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Master's Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Florida Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Florida Prep will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Master's Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
