Football Recap: Trinity Piles Up the Points Against Northwest

Trinity had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 39-point drubbing they dealt Northwest on Friday. The Trojans breezed past the Texans to the tune of 53-14. Considering the Trojans have won four matchups by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Despite the loss, Northwest still got an impressive performance from Stephen Momo, who rushed for 123 yards and one TD on only ten carries.

The victory (which was Trinity's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.8 points over those games. As for Northwest, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
