League recap: Lamb races to league-leading run for South Coffeyville

B District 3 (8 Man) recap September 24, 2013

South Coffeyville's Dakota Lamb recorded the longest rushing play in B District 3 (8 Man) this season in his game against Agra last week. Lamb's team bested the Bearcats as he sprinted for 63 yards on the play and finished with 101 in all.

Oaks-Mission led the league in scoring this week by notching 56 points on Welch.

Coyle's dynamic duo of Ryan Weathers and Laine Noble proved tough for Rejoice Christian to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Weathers threw for 100 yards and Noble had 112 yards receiving.

The Bluejackets' dynamic duo of Weathers and Noble proved to be unstoppable against the Eagles, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Weathers put up the best numbers in passing as Coyle fell to Rejoice Christian.

Lamb was the most successful running back in the league this week. Wyatt Armstrong also contributed to the rushing game with 92 yards on the ground.

Noble was the best receiver in B District 3 (8 Man) this week as Shane Weathers' team fell to Albert Kemp's team.

Armstrong was a passing and rushing force as South Coffeyville beat Agra.

Domonique Glimpse was a key player and the best on defense this week as Craig Hood's team defeated George Weve's team. The 6-foot-1 senior.

Coyle's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Bluejackets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Weathers has thrown for 334 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while Noble has 8 catches for 269 yards.

The Lions are currently in first, while Watts is in seventh.

Lamb broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 63-yard run against the Bearcats.
