Football Preview: Nandua Warriors vs. West Point Pointers        
        
		
            The Nandua Warriors will head out on the road to  take on  the West Point Pointers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Nandua will be strutting in after a  win while West Point will be coming in after a  defeat.
On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Nandua beat Arcadia 26-20. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Firebirds recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  victory against them.

Nandua's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Juelz Snead led the charge by rushing for 150 yards and one  score on only ten carries. Those  150  rushing yards gave  Snead a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Elijah Parker, who rushed for 76 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only nine carries.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Nandua was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 262  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, while it was West Point who put the first  points on the board on Friday, it was Middlesex who put up more. The Pointers took  a  24-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. While the Pointers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Chargers  6-0 in the first  quarter.
Nandua will have to contain  Jaydien Taylor as he made an impact in West Point's last game. He rushed for 61 yards and one  TD. Taylor showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 61 yards.

 West Point has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record  this season. As for Nandua, their record now sits at 3-5.
 Things could have been worse for Nandua, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took  a  14-0 loss to West Point when the teams last played  back in November of 2022. Can the Warriors avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
