Softball Recap: Bayard Tigers vs. Alliance Bulldogs        
        
		
             After soaring to 11  runs the game before, Bayard was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  on Thursday. They lost  11-2 to the Alliance Bulldogs. The Tigers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as their game  on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
  Shayleigh West was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-2. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen two or more in the last five games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Even though they lost, Bayard was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .409 or higher in four consecutive  contests.
 Bayard now  has a losing record at 11-12-1. As for Alliance,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 9-22.
 Bayard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alliance, they will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against Chase County. Alliance is facing Chase County at the right time seeing as Chase County is stuck on  a  22-game losing streak.
