Basketball Recap: Cross Plains Beats Sidney for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Cross Plains had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They walked away with a 48-40 win over the Sidney Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-31 back in December of 2024.

Cross Plains has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Sidney, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing May the next time they take the court. Cross Plains will host May at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Sidney will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
