Soccer Game Preview: Dunwoody vs. Decatur

The Dunwoody Wildcats will square off against the Decatur Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dunwoody's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They blew past Collins Hill 7-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Their offense was hitting Collins Hill from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Mariana Queoroz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Decatur beat Druid Hills 2-0 last Thursday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Dunwoody now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Decatur, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Dunwoody beat Decatur by a goal in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, winning 2-1. Will Dunwoody repeat their success, or does Decatur have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
