Cedarcrest barely beat Highline the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Wolves put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 13-4 win on Friday. The Red Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Cedarcrest pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Highline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cedarcrest beat the Pirates by a score of 14-2 later that day.
