Basketball Recap: Paulding Victorious

Paulding won the last time they faced Tinora and Kate Manz did her part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers blew past the Rams, posting a 66-18 win with plenty of help from Manz, who went 6-for-8 from beyond the arc on her way to 25 points and five steals. She also put up a block, which was her first of the season.

Another player making a difference was Kayleigh Dunham, who posted five points along with nine blocks and seven boards. She has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: she's posted one of at least 50% every time she's hit the court this season.

Paulding's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Tinora, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paulding will host Montpelier at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tinora, they will be home for the holidays to greet Wauseon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
