After a string of four wins, Sheridan's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Fairfield Union Falcons by a score of 39-36. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Sheridan's defeat ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3. As for Fairfield Union, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Sheridan and Waterford will round out the year against one another at at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairfield Union, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Fairfield Union's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Logan has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
