Eastside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 64-50 to the Lakeland Christian Academy Cougars. One positive for the Blazers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lakeland Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Micah Martin posted 33 points and Josiah Rice scored 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rice has scored at least a third of Lakeland Christian Academy's points.

Eastside's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Lakeland Christian Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Eastside will head out on the road to challenge Garrett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Garrett is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.4 points per game this season. As for Lakeland Christian Academy, they will face off against South Bend Career Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
