Baseball Recap: El Camino Victorious

While El Camino's win against Destiny Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Lions 8-7 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won eight in a row.

Brandon Flohr was incredible, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Baden Blaser, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

El Camino's record is now 4-9. As for Destiny Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat El Camino by a score of 10-2 on Wednesday.
