Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was the 38-28 winner over Aberdeen Central when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Roosevelt Rough Riders took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles. The Rough Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Aberdeen Central, they pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Roosevelt will welcome Pierre T.F. Riggs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aberdeen Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
