Volleyball Recap: Foxfire Phoenix vs. Cristo Rey Cougar
After flying high against Varsity Opponent last Thursday, Foxfire came back down to earth. The Phoenix came up short against the Cristo Rey Cougar on Tuesday, falling 3-0. If the Phoenix were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cougar when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-13.
Foxfire's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Cristo Rey, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
Foxfire does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cristo Rey, they will venture away from home to square off against Shekinah Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
