The Achaeans will head out to challenge the Techies at 5:30 p.m. Purdue Polytechnic took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Herron, who comes in off a win.
Purdue Polytechnic will be up against a hot Herron squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Achaeans walked away with a 2-0 win over Indianapolis Washington on Thursday.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Herron took both sets by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-8.

Herron got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Layla Williams out in front who had seven assists and four aces. That's the most aces Williams has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Addilyn Durham, who had 11 assists and four aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Herron was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 13 aces in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Purdue Polytechnic came up short against International on Wednesday and fell 3-1.
While Purdue Polytechnic ultimately came up short, they really made International work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 18-25, 26-24, 25-21.
Herron's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Purdue Polytechnic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's match: Herron has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 9 aces per game. However, it's not like Purdue Polytechnic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11.8 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Herron's way against Purdue Polytechnic when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as Herron made off with a 3-0 victory.
