Baseball Game Preview: Buford Wolves vs. Dacula Falcons

For the second straight game, Buford will face off against Dacula. The Wolves will face off against the Falcons at 5:55 p.m. on Friday. Buford's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Dacula's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Wednesday, Buford was able to grind out a solid win over Dacula, taking the game 10-6. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

For Dacula's part, Cody Bullard was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Jared Glenn was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run.

Buford's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Dacula, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-13.
