Baseball Recap: Tennyson Comes Up Short

Tennyson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the San Lorenzo Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 on Tuesday.

Tennyson's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for San Lorenzo, their win ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 10-12.

Tennyson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Lorenzo, they will face off against Hayward at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last five games the Farmers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
