Soccer Game Preview: C.B. Aycock vs. Fike + How To Watch

The C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons will take on the Fike Golden Demons at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

C.B. Aycock had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the eight-goal drubbing they dealt Rocky Mount on Monday. The Golden Falcons were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Gryphons. With C.B. Aycock ahead 8-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Rocky Mount from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Dennis Graham led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Fike kept a clean sheet against Southern Wayne on Wednesday. They blew past the Saints 9-0.

Fike pushed their record up to 9-6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four contests. As for C.B. Aycock, their victory bumped their record up to 18-0.
