Soccer Game Preview: Hamilton vs. Corona del Sol

The Hamilton Huskies and the Corona del Sol Aztecs will round out the year against one another at at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Hamilton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Hamilton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Campo Verde, who was ranked tenth at the time (Hamilton was ranked 19th). Hamilton won by a goal and slipped past Campo Verde 2-1. Maddox Peterson had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Huskies.

Hamilton used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Campo Verde. And. Tyson Morse made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Meanwhile, Corona del Sol had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They and Dobson finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Aztecs as the squad haven't won a game since December 4th.

With that draw, Corona del Sol's record moves to 1-5-2. As for Hamilton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
