After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Moody, John Carroll Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wenonah Dragons a 15-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-0 last Thursday.

John Carroll Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Wenonah, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, John Carroll Catholic will head out to square off against Sipsey Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. John Carroll Catholic is facing Sipsey Valley at the right time seeing as Sipsey Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Wenonah, they will square off against Parker at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Parker will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Wenonah surely won't give up without a fight.
