Basketball Recap: Hempstead Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hempstead lost to Dubuque Senior back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs were dealt a 69-26 loss at the hands of the Rams. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hempstead's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Dubuque Senior, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Hempstead will venture away from home to face off against Waterloo West at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be up against the Wahawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Dubuque Senior, they are taking a road trip to challenge Linn-Mar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
