Softball Recap: Scurry-Rosser Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats came up short against the Rockwall-Heath Hawks and fell 11-6. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scurry-Rosser saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaycee Rhoades, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Alanah Greene was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Scurry-Rosser's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Rockwall-Heath, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scurry-Rosser will host Mineola at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockwall-Heath, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Rockwall-Heath Hawks challenge North Forney Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
