Orangeburg-Wilkinson piles up the points against Gilbert

Recap: Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins vs. Gilbert Indians

The Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Gilbert 66-39 at home. Orangeburg-Wilkinson's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jenia Haigler was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joliyah Robinson, who scored 17 points.

The victory was the third in a row for Orangeburg-Wilkinson, bringing their record for this year to 18-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.33 points. As for Gilbert, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson will head out on the road to face off against Swansea at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gilbert, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lower Richland at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Lower Richland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Friday.
