Softball Recap: Rancho Cucamonga Cougars vs. Walnut Mustangs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Citrus Valley, Rancho Cucamonga was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Walnut Mustangs. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Jordin Washington was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sam Smith, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
