Baseball Recap: Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs vs. Martinsville Artesians
While Franklin Community put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Martinsville. The Grizzly Cubs put the hurt on the Artesians with a sharp 11-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Grizzly Cubs in their matchups with the Artesians: they've now won nine in a row.
Greyson Betts made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.
