Soccer Recap: Escondido Charter Comes Up Short

Escondido Charter's game on Friday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 4-2 to the La Jolla Country Day Torreys. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in January.

Escondido Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-4. As for La Jolla Country Day, their record is now 6-8-2.

Looking ahead, Escondido Charter will welcome Pacific Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pacific Ridge will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Escondido Charter surely won't give up without a fight. As for La Jolla Country Day, they will head out on the road to take on Bishop's at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
