Claiborne's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Cherokee Chiefs as they made off with a 10-1 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Brinkley Hollin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hollin was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Tayleigh Stansberry was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Jaycee Hall was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Claiborne hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.
