Volleyball Recap: Pace Takes a Loss

Pace and Oviedo squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Pace had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The Patriots' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Pace took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10, 25-19.

Pace's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Oviedo, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Pace does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oviedo, they will host Buchholz at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
