Football Game Preview: Ware County Gators vs. Warner Robins Demons + Official Tickets

Ware County and Warner Robins are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2018, but not for long. The Gators will take on the Demons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Warner Robins heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Ware County took over last week. The Gators walked away with a 21-14 victory over Perry on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Gators' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Panthers are ranked 85th).

A big part of Ware County's win came down to the chemistry between Isaiah White and his top target Jamario Rice. White threw for 218 yards and two TDs while completing 78.3% of his passes while Rice picked up 136 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those 218 passing yards gave White a new career-high.

Warner Robins never got on the board in their matchup on October 3rd, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against New Hampstead on Friday. They came out on top against the Phoenix by a score of 34-26. Considering the Demons' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The victory made it two in a row for Ware County and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.0 points over those games. As for Warner Robins, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Ware County came out on top in a nail-biter against Warner Robins in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 23-21. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Demons' Skyler Williams, who threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt.
