Alpine extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Naida Morris. The Bucks put the hurt on the Tornillo Coyotes with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday with plenty of help from Morris, who had six digs and six aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Alpine took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-3, 25-5.

Alpine got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Karolina Castillo out in front who had 18 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Castillo has posted over her last four contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Taryn Hardin, who had ten kills, five digs, and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Alpine was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Alpine now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Tornillo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Alpine is set to square off against their familiar foe Presidio at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Tornillo will take on rival Kermit at 11:05 a.m. on Saturday.
