Jenison came tearing into Thursday's matchup with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Caledonia Fighting Scots. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 22-25, 25-9, 25-19.

Leading Jenison to victory were Cora Rotman and Rylee Fennema. Rotman had 21 assists and five digs, while Fennema had eight digs and two assists. That's the most digs Fennema has posted over her last seven contests. Elsa Hart also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Jenison was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matches.

Avery Seif and Aubrey Reynolds certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Seif had 13 digs and one assist, while Reynolds had 13 kills, 13 digs, and one block. Reynolds is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had nine or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Jenison's record now sits at 22-2. As for Caledonia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season.

Jenison has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Unity Christian on the 4th. As for Caledonia, after both having extra time off, they and Muskegon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
