Dayton Christian hadn't done well against Botkins recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The WARRIORS narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Trojans 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Dayton Christian were the better team in the second half.

The win got Dayton Christian back to even at 9-9-1. As for Botkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-2.

Coming up, Dayton Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Cincinnati Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cincinnati Country Day will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Dayton Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Botkins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
