North Pocono faced Abington Heights in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Trojans won by a run and slipped past the Comets 5-4. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on five straight.

Areilla Bell tossed a big game, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Isabella Forgione, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was her first of the season. Alyssa Lynch was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

North Pocono's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Abington Heights, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-3.
