Softball Recap: Bethany Community Comes Up Short

Bethany Community lost against McMichael back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolves fell 7-4 to the Phoenix. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bethany Community saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rebecca Price, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Bethany Community's record is now 5-5. As for McMichael, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Bethany Community will square off against Carver at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for McMichael, they will face off against Bartlett Yancey at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buccaneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.56 runs per game on average), something the Phoenix will no doubt try to take advantage of.
