After a string of 12 wins, Allendale's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of West Catholic by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Allendale of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Allendale's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for West Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9-3.

Allendale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against East Grand Rapids on the 25th. As for West Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against NorthPointe Christian on the 25th.
