Soccer Recap: Spring Grove Comes Up Short

Spring Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the York Suburban Trojans. While losing is never fun, Spring Grove can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while York Suburban are ranked 152nd).

Spring Grove's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for York Suburban, they pushed their record up to 8-5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Grove will host William Penn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring Grove will be up against William Penn's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.8 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for York Suburban, they will challenge Kennard-Dale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
