A well-balanced attack led Pueblo East over Pueblo Centennial in every quarter on their way to victory  on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Pueblo East Eagles blew the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs out of the water with  a  71-24 final score. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  victory against them.
 Pueblo East was led to victory by  Myah Abeyta and  Ilyne Avila.  Abeyta  went 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points along with six  steals and five  assists, while  Avila  dropped  a double-double on 19  points and ten  blocks. Thanks to that strong game,  Abeyta now owns an excellent 41.3%  three-point shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was  Sammie Alzate, who  posted six  points and five  assists.
Pueblo East pushed their record up to 15-4 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.3 points. As for Pueblo Centennial, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pueblo East will head out to  challenge Pueblo South  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Pueblo Centennial, they won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Hinkley  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
