Football Recap: King Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

King hadn't done well against Summer Creek recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Panthers enjoyed a cozy 42-28 win over the Bulldogs. The Panthers pushed the score to 42-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

King got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dionne Sims out in front who rushed for 168 yards and one score while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Timothy Potts was another key passer, throwing for 160 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 81.2% of his passes.

Summer Creek's loss came despite strong showings from Noah Spinks and Benny Easter Jr.. Spinks threw for 386 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.6% of his passes, while Easter Jr. picked up 176 receiving yards and one score. Braylin Causey was in the mix too, providing the Bulldogs with two TDs.

The win was the fourth in a row for King, bringing their record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Summer Creek, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 5-1.
