Football Recap: Pueblo Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Pueblo Central was riding high fresh off their 50-15 takedown of Pueblo Centennial two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 42-2 loss at the hands of the Canon City Tigers. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Canon City had a senior duo take command as Gavin Reddick rushed for 173 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries and Jake Adamic gained 148 total yards and three touchdowns. Reddick has become a key player for the Tigers: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Pueblo Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Canon City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Coming up, Pueblo Central will welcome Pueblo East at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Canon City, they are taking a road trip to challenge Coronado at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
