Volleyball Game Preview: Como-Pickton Eagles vs. Yantis Owls

The Como-Pickton Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Yantis Owls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Como-Pickton has three straight victories, Yantis has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Friday, Como-Pickton made easy work of Alba-Golden and carried off a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Yantis lost 3-0 to North Hopkins on Friday.

The final score came out to 25-2, 25-18, 25-7.

Yantis' loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Como-Pickton, their victory bumped their record up to 25-11.

Como-Pickton took their win against Yantis in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
