Middle College scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Larchmont Charter Timberwolves 70-66. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Timberwolves recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Jonathan Callahan-Rives was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 10 en route to 18 points along with seven steals and six rebounds for Larchmont Charter. Callahan-Rives has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Declan O'Malley, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 16 points and three blocks.

Middle College's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Larchmont Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Middle College will take on Math & Science College Preparatory at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Math & Science College Preparatory will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Middle College surely won't give up without a fight. As for Larchmont Charter, they will face off against New West Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
