If Lewis-Palmer wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Cheyenne Mountain, they should've done a better job of containing Cayden Cooper. The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks came out on top against the Lewis-Palmer Rangers by a score of 57-47 on Friday thanks to Cooper, who shot 4-for-5 from deep and dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (80%).

Lewis-Palmer's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Lowe, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Lowe is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last five games he's played. Will Rinnels was another key player, going 7-for-14 to rack up 17 points.

Cheyenne Mountain's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. As for Lewis-Palmer, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8.

Cheyenne Mountain has already played their next game, a 56-46 win against Air Academy on the 11th. As for Lewis-Palmer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-47 defeat against Palmer Ridge on the 11th.
