Righetti was led to victory by Nathan Armstrong and Joshua Troeger. Armstrong scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Troeger dropped a double-double on 18 points and 20 rebounds. Jacob Nelson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Righetti's win bumped their record up to 7-20. As for Nipomo, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 9-18.
Righetti didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 73-34 defeat vs. Mission College Prep on the 9th. Nipomo has also already played their next contest, a 67-59 defeat against Templeton on the 9th.
