Rockford had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 11-16 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lowell Red Arrows 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since May 14, 2024.

As for Lowell, their loss dropped their record down to 22-10-1. The game snapped a strange streak: the last six times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

For Lowell's part, Owen Dennings was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Dennings has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
