Dominion Christian lost against Unity Christian last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights fell just short of the Lions by a score of 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Knights have suffered since December 10, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Dominion Christian lost, don't look at Elizabeth Johnson. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. The game was Johnson's third in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Hadassah Garrett, who shot 56% from the field on her way to 13 points.

Dominion Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Unity Christian, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.
