Game recap: Genoa Area High School Football Team defeats Woodmore

GENOA, Ohio - Genoa Area (Genoa, Ohio) notched nine points on top of its 51-point lead going into the fourth quarter to win against Woodmore (Elmore, Ohio) 88-14.

After taking the lead on a Ryan Espinoza touchdown run in the first quarter, the Comets led 58-6 at the half.

Jake Wojciechowski and Casey Gose ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Wildcats. Wojciechowski scored three touchdowns on the ground and Gose added two as well.

Genoa Area went into the matchup giving up only 15.2 points per game.

The loss comes after Woodmore defeated Otsego 36-35 last week. The loss broke Woodmore's two-game winning streak.
