Cornerstone Christian proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 20) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Liberty Bison 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Crusaders sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Cornerstone Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steel Hoham, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Charlee Kylis was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Cornerstone Christian pushed their record up to 22-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cornerstone Christian will host Perris at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Liberty, they will welcome Paloma Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Bison's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
